Malini Srinivasan and Dancers is a group committed to presenting new works stemming from and expanding the tradition and technique of Bharatanatyam, the classical dance from south India. Choreographer Malini Srinivasan creates works that fall within the traditional Bharatanatyam idiom, as well as works that explore non-traditional movement, music, and stories. Malini often collaborates with Finnish composer Ilari Kaila, who creates music for dance that explores the meeting points of Indian and Western classical music.

The company has presented their work at the Queens Museum of Art (Flushing), Charles B. Wang Center (Stony Brook), LaMama (NY, NY), and the LaGuardia Performing Arts Center (Long Island City).
